For owners
You built something real. We'd be honored to help it last.
There are many good paths for an owner, and Kevin has walked some of them himself. Evergreen Fund is for owners who care most about permanence: their people, their name, and their community.
What we look for
Good companies with a team worth keeping.
- Service businesses in Missouri and the surrounding region
- Generally under $5 million in annual revenue
- Healthy, consistent profits over several years
- A team and customer base the owner is proud of
- Behavioral health, marketing, bookkeeping, trades, and home services in particular
- An owner who cares what happens to the business after them
Questions owners ask
Are you a private equity firm?
No. Evergreen Fund invests its own capital and has no outside investors or fund deadline. We don't plan to sell the companies we partner with.
What happens to my employees?
They stay. The team is the reason a company is worth partnering with, and we expect pay to grow as the business grows.
Do I have to stay on after a transition?
That's your choice. Some owners stay on and share in the profit they help create, some step back gradually, and some hand over the day-to-day. We structure it around what you want.
Will you change the name?
No. Your name, your culture, and your relationships with customers stay as they are.
I'm not ready to sell. Is it too early to talk?
It's never too early. Many of our conversations start years before any change, and the earlier you start, the more options you have.
Is our conversation confidential?
Always. We don't share what you tell us with anyone.
For advisors
Introduce us to the owner who isn't ready to list.
Exit planners, CPAs, attorneys, wealth advisors, and brokers often meet owners years before a sale. When a client cares more about their people than about the last dollar, we'd welcome the introduction, and we'll keep you involved.
