About

Kevin Meuret

The owners and teams are the story. We work in the background.

Portrait of Kevin Meuret
Kevin J. Meuret, MBAFounder, ROI Logistics and Evergreen Fund

Kevin Meuret is a healthcare entrepreneur, a University of Nebraska–Lincoln alumnus with an MBA from Webster University, and has spent more than three decades of starting, growing, and exiting medical companies across the Midwest.

Kevin opened his first men's health clinic in Omaha in 2012. It grew into Mantality Health, a regional group of clinics across Missouri, Iowa, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania, built by a team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and staff who made it work. Before that, he was the sole founder of Breakthrough Pain Relief Clinics, a regional group of interventional pain and rehabilitation outpatient clinics across Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Oklahoma, which he built and sold.

In a successful exit, Mantality joined Agentis Longevity, a Shore Capital Partners-backed healthcare platform, and Kevin stayed on as a shareholder and board member. Going through that transition as the seller taught him what matters most to an owner: that the team is cared for, customers are served well, and the work continues.

Evergreen Fund grew out of that experience. Kevin's role is to listen, to support, and to stay out of the spotlight. He lives in St. Louis and is the father of six.

“It is all about who we partner with — the legacy for them and the stakeholders — and we honor that legacy and build on it, quietly in the background.”

In his words

Country Club Conversations with Raj Tut

Kevin joined Raj Tut, founder and CEO of Storyboard Living, for a conversation about growing up in a farming family, losing a business and rebuilding it, and how he builds teams that run without him. (October 2023, 70 minutes)

  • “It takes the right people, empowered, and they care as much about this business. They run it as if it's their own.”
  • “Recognize the people that can do those things, put them in place, and truly give them the authority. Let them run it and they'll get it done.”
  • “It's a big sandbox. There's not one piece of pie we're trying to cut. We're actually creating more pie.”
  • “People buy into what they create.”
  • “We're paid for the problems that we solve… but we do this because it means something to us.”
